Dialing It In

Still have a few things to dial in to make it ‘just right’
As I thought, 170mm cranks are fine if I’m just cruising around at 30km/h, but putting the hammer down is too much work on short cranks. I need 172.5mm!

Also, the stem is about 10mm too short. Even if I move the seat back a bit, it’s still not where I’d like it to be.
(Then I can cut the remaining of the steerer column off too.)
At least I could get the seatpost height perfect yesterday.
And unfortunately, I will probably never get used to the 11-30 sprocket. I can totally feel I could a few of those gears in between (specifically, 18T)
Considering I rode on a gear mashing, 12-25T for the past 3 years, and before that 11-23 forever, this is like mountain bike gearing for me!
Shimano writes on their CS-9200 box for an 11-28T option, but I’ve never seen one yet (and too bad Dura-Ace is no cheaper than ¥30,000 for a cassette).

I’m still not used to the RED wheels.. what do you think?
Dump them on Mercari

They don’t look so bad in the right sun light, so summer would be fine, I think. Just now, winter is.. not coordinated with the seasons’ colors?
