‘Iris’ you were here! ✨
Wandering around the iris fields was so peaceful, and I didn’t feel like I was in Okinawa!
And don’t be fooled – both sides of this pathway were lined with mud and a thick marshy kind of mess of water/plants/roots (and frogs! I think we saw like 5 frogs in total!?) , so we had to watch our footing when we were walking through. Word on the street is that the mud gets deep, so none of us wanted to accidentally step in it 🧐🙀

Bring a few yen with you and take some of the Iris flowers home (2nd pic)!
