These are Yaeyama Islands collection, yet these are not the whole islands.
I visited these islands while I was living in Ishigakijima for about 3.5 years non-consecutively.

1. Taketomi Island = This is the closest Island from Ishigaki. It takes about 15 minutes ferry ride from Ishigaki Island. As soon as you reach there, you can choose any driver that bring you to the Bike rental place and they will send you back to the port once you’re done.

2. Iriomote Island = This is the largest Island in Yaeyama, I came here 2 times for snorkeling, waterfall and visited Yubu Island and drive around the island. It takes about 35 – 40 minutes ferry ride from Ishigaki Island.

3. Yubu Island = To get to yubu, I need to go to Iriomote by Ferry then to drive then buffalo riding for about 2km to reach Yubu. This was fun 🤩

4. Hatoma Island = Not very far from Iriomote Island, I came here to snorkel then Lunch and it is also very close to Balas Island, its beautiful for snorkeling. It takes about 50 minutes ferry ride from Ishigaki Island.

5. Kohama Island = Peaceful Island and it takes about 30 minutes ferry ride from Ishigaki Island. This island is popular with Resort destination.

6. Kuroshima Island = This island has almost look like a heart shape symbole seen from the sky. Famous island of cows, because the amount of cows are more than humans J. Another peaceful Island 30 minutes ferry ride from Ishigaki Island.

7. Hateruma Island = This is the southernmost inhabited island in Japan. There are so many view point and famous with the night milkyway. For me this is the most beautiful Island in Yaeyama and I love the beach there J It takes about 2 hours ferry ride from Ishigaki.

8. Ishigaki Island = One of the most beautiful Island and there are so many view point and beautiful places to visit. One of the famous one is Kabira Beach. You can go to Ishigaki easily from big city in Japan by Flight.
