My story👇 Lots of new faces here so l thought I’d share my story again.

Hi 👋 I’m Momoko, full time traveler/ content creator living in Japan. I was born in Boston, the US and moved to Japan when I was a little kid. so actually my first language is Japanese. I learnt English again in Boston after graduated university.

In 2017, I found myself unfulfilled in life no matter what I did.
After I graduated university, I worked for a major Japanese company. There I built my career as a secretary to the CEO and was protected by a good salary and a stable workplace.

But I grew up watching manga and anime from a young age, so I discovered that I always had a passion and a desire for adventure like heroes of mangas.
And I strongly felt that I wanted to take control of my own life.

I saw people living their dream life on social media it was time to give it a try. I decide that I wanted to be like them and go on adventures whenever and wherever I wanted.

I started from 0. I studied everything I needed to know to live as a freelancer and went to school while working to learn what I needed to know about shooting and creating content.

I was afraid of failure, afraid of being judged, afraid of losing my stable job, afraid that people would laugh at me.
Nevertheless, my longing for adventure, like the manga/anime heroes who once inspired me, encouraged me to try.

And now I’m living as a full-time traveler/content creator.

My motto is “Live like a five-year-old kid for the rest of your life.” Be excited about the things around you like a little child, and make every effort to shine with adventure every day.

When I first started freelancing, no one taught me how to create content for social media, and few people introduced me to places where I could find adventure.

So I am now sending out information on where I can find new adventures and how to create content.
I’d be happy if what I’m sharing can inspire you to take a step forward tomorrow and go somewhere different.
