Sometimes I imagine what my life might be like in the future.
As I saw this older gentleman walking home from a night of drinking in Tokyo, I couldn’t help but think about.
Will I age like a fine wine or like milk?
I bring myself back into the present moment and remember to make the best of what I have TODAY. I am a firm believer that the future isn’t written or determined by us. We could be well on our way to becoming a millionaire and then get hit by a bus as we walk across the street.
Work hard for a bright future, but don’t forget to enjoy today.

バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー

私は時々、自分の人生が将来どのようになるかを想像する。
東京で飲んだ後、家路につく年配の紳士を見ながら、私は考えずにはいられなくなった。
私は高級ワインのように年をとるのだろうか、それとも牛乳のように年をとるのだろうか。
私は、今この瞬間に自分を引き戻し、今日あるものを最大限に活用することを忘れません。私は、未来は私たちによって書かれたり決定されたりするものではないと確信しています。億万長者への道を順調に進んでいたのに、通りを歩いているときにバスに轢かれるかもしれないのです。
明るい未来のために一生懸命働き、しかし、今日を楽しむことを忘れないでください。
