For anyone whoâs never heard of Shuri Castle, itâs a world heritage site in Okinawa, Japan-where royalty used to live before it was a Japanese prefecture! There is so much Okinawa history on these grounds..

..But unfortunately, it was completely burned down at the end of last year and no longer stands. I visited the castle a couple weeks after it was open again to the public & didnât realize what had happened til I got there. CHECK IT OUT!
