I am so happy to see that some traditions haven’t died here in Okinawa. Every once and a while, you will see women dressed in a Kimono walking around.
I saw an older woman getting onigiri and bringing it to who I think was her son and husband. I thought it was so cute that she dressed up for their family night out.

沖縄の伝統が途絶えていないのは、とてもうれしいことです。たまに、着物を着た女性が歩いているのを見かけます。
年配の女性がおにぎりを買って、息子さんとご主人と思われる方に持っていくのを見ました。家族で楽しむために着飾るというのは、とてもかわいらしいことだと思いました。
