I am so thankful for the time I get to spend on this beautiful island and the amazing people I have gotten to know along the way. From time to time, I get invited to things foreigners normally wouldn’t see. One of my friends invited me to what I think was a club fundraiser. All I cared about was the food, music, and good people so I was definitely down.

この美しい島で過ごすことができる時間、そしてその過程で知り合うことができた人々に、とても感謝しています。私はここ沖縄で、地元の人たちとかなり親しくなりました。だから時々、外国人が普段見ることのないようなものに招待されることがあるんです。ある友人は、クラブの資金集めだと思うのですが、私を招待してくれました。私は食べ物や音楽、そして良い人たちに囲まれていることに興味があったので、間違いなく参加しました。
