This past weekend was our 1 year oki Anniversary. We celebrated by a yummy breakfast where they spoiled us since they knew it was our 1 year, we got our boating licenses & went fishing with a local, snorkeled all weekend throughout the island, and did some more exploring.It really was such a bittersweet moment because we’re blessed to live on such a beautiful island, but that also means its been a year since we’ve seen our family. It’s been a year since we’ve done simple every day things like going to chick-fil-a, Target, or even a grocery store where you don’t have to go to multiple trips (here in oki you usually have to shop around for what you want). We love Okinawa in every way. It’s breathtakiny blue water and sweet locals. We’re lucky to call it home for now. Our amazing experiences and the amazing people we’ve met have kept us sane while we miss our family.
