Wondering Kadena for pictures over by the seawall I saw this little guy. Or should I say he saw me? He crept his way next to me as I sat down on the seawall to listen to the waves crash and get swept back out. He wasn’t begging for food. I think he just wanted the company. So, we both sat and watched the sunset.

嘉手納町の護岸で写真を撮ろうと思っていたら、この小さな男を見つけた。というか、彼が私を見たというべきか。防波堤に座って波の音を聞いていると、彼は私のそばに忍び寄ってきた。彼は食べ物を求めていたわけではありません。ただ仲間が欲しかったのだと思う。だから、私たちは座って夕日を見ていた。
